Have a GREAT weekend! You don't have any homework BUT...
It is ALWAYS a good thing to read, especially when you don't have to!
AMAZING work in the classroom today!
If you want to continue your work at home on your animal of choice, you have the questions we brainstormed together in your binder.
You must show me where you found the answers to your question by printing what you find on the internet. Be sure you highlight the answers.
If the answers are from a book you read at home or at the library, be sure to write down the name of the book and the page number.
Remember, the BIG question is..."What can I do that will make a difference in the life of endangered animals?"
You don't have to work on this at home this weekend, only if you want. We will have plenty of time to work in the classroom.
Great website http://www.planetozkids.com/oban/animals/endanger.htm with LOTS of information about endangered animals in general, maybe not your animal. There are some great questions asked that we will be talking about in class.
- Why is it important to protect endangered animals?
- How are humans increasing the speed of extinction for many animals?
- Are humans entirely to blame for animals becoming extinct?
- How have recent laws begun to help endangered animals?
- Why is it important to have national parks for animals?
- What can I do to help endangered animals?
